DANNY GREEN FOR SHERIFF

My name is Danny Green and I have announced my candidacy for Shelby County Sheriff. I started working for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office under Sheriff Carl Shofner in early 1997 as a reserve Deputy. After a few months, I started full time as a patrol officer, then up the ranks to patrol supervisor, investigator, chief investigator, then Chief Deputy for the last year of Sheriff James Moore’s’ administration.

Through the years I have either performed or supervised every job and duty at the Sheriff’s Department. I worked with the team as the Children’s Advocacy Center was formed and was on the committee creating the protocols for the Center. I was part of the team responsible for terminating one of the largest methamphetamine operations in East Texas and Western Louisiana.

If you‘re not sure about my qualifications to be your next Sheriff, ask someone you trust like your Constable, City Marshall, or local police officer. They know our current sheriff and they know me. And they know my law enforcement history and my qualifications to be your next sheriff.

Election Day is getting closer. Remember early voting starts Oct 20, at the County Clerk's office located in their new facility next door to Citizen's Bank on the square.

Remember, no matter what, NO ONE knows who you voted for except you!

Your vote is a secret ballot.  It is your right to vote for whomever you choose without fear of retribution.
